A small engineering company that says no to things.

Founded in 2023, in Kolkata. We build enterprise software, automate work with AI agents, add AI to the systems companies already run, and handle the records and data underneath. All of it with our own people, which is the only reason it fits together.

Software and AI, all in-house

Four hours, every working day

We started by scanning paper. It turns out that the interesting problem is never the scanning — it is what happens to the information afterwards.

Every digitization client eventually asked the same question: now that this is digital, where does it live and who is allowed to see it? Answering that honestly meant building software. Building software well meant hiring engineers, and hiring engineers meant deciding what we were not going to do.

What we kept is a set of disciplines that need each other. We get your existing records into a state a computer can use, we build the system they live in, and we put AI to work inside it, or inside the system you already have. Hire one of those from us and you get a good piece of work. Hire the set and nobody is left arguing about whose side of the join the problem is on.

  1. 2023

    Diginathi is founded

Starting with what we knew: records digitization and data work for organisations drowning in paper.

  2. 2024

    Software becomes the core

Clients kept asking where the digitized records should live. Building the answer turned out to be the more valuable half of the job.

  3. 2025

    DigiDocSmart ships

The document management system we had been building for clients one at a time, turned into a product with cloud and on-premises deployment.

  4. 2026

    AI automation takes the lead

Agents that read, check and route real work become the centre of what we build, with digitization and data capture feeding them. Manpower supply is retired the same year.

How we work

Four commitments we will put in the contract.

Anyone can write values on a wall. These are clauses — you can hold us to each one, and they are the reason most of our clients come back for a second project.

01

You own everything we build

Source code, infrastructure, data, documentation. No proprietary runtime you have to keep paying us for. If you want to move to another vendor in two years, you can — and we will hand over cleanly.

02

We measure before we promise

Every AI engagement starts with a pilot on your real data, and we publish the accuracy honestly — including where it fails. A vendor who will not show you the failure cases has not looked for them.

03

A person stays in the loop

Automation without a review queue is just a faster way to be wrong at scale. Every system we build has confidence thresholds, an exception queue, and a manual override.

04

Working software every two weeks

You see progress on a real URL with real data, not a status report. Problems surface in week four, when they are cheap, instead of month six, when they are not.

Working with US clients

Offshore, without the offshore experience.

The usual complaint about an offshore team is not the code. It is waiting eighteen hours for an answer. We solved that the simple way: we moved our day.

Four hours live, every working day

From 9am to 1pm US Eastern you can reach a named engineer, not a duty inbox. Calls, screen shares, decisions made while you are both awake.

A written handover before your morning

What moved, what is blocked, what we need from you. You start your day informed instead of asking for a status update.

USD contracts on US terms

Standard MSA and SOW, net-30, wire or ACH. Your NDA, signed by us, covering every named individual on the project.

Plain English, no jargon tax

Our documentation and our calls are in language a non-technical stakeholder can follow. If you need to forward it to your board, you can.

Being straight with you

What we are not.

Knowing when a vendor is wrong for you saves more money than any discount. Here is where we are the wrong call.

A staffing agency billing by the head

We do not rent you five developers and leave you to work out what to do with them. We take responsibility for an outcome and staff it ourselves. Supplying people and building software are different businesses, and we are only in one of them.

Convinced that everything should be automated

Plenty of work is too rare, too varied or too consequential to hand to a model, and some of it is cheaper to leave alone. When we find that in your process we will tell you, even though the honest answer is the smaller invoice.

A reseller with a badge

We are not implementing someone else’s platform and calling it our product. DigiDocSmart is ours, top to bottom.

The cheapest quote you will get

There is always someone offering half our rate. Sometimes that is the right choice for a piece of work, and we will say so.

Next step

Want to know if we are the right fit?

The fastest way to find out is a call where you describe the problem and we tell you what we would actually do about it — including recommending someone else if that is the honest answer.
